F-28 Fokker Crash Test, NASA LaRC

Video footage of an F-28 Fokker transport aircraft crash test conducted at NASA’s Langley Research Facility in Hampton, Virginia. Engineers evaluated crashworthiness by utilizing instrumented crash-test dummies equipped with embedded sensors to capture critical impact data. The collected data will be used to improve crash prediction models, enhance understanding of crash dynamics, and support the development of future airline safety standards and requirements.

The test was captured using high speed video cameras and DSLR cameras to capture still images.
